Health is one of the most closely regulated advertising categories, both on the platforms and by local authorities. An ad that is rejected wastes time. An ad that breaks the rules can put your accounts, and your reputation, at risk. A little preparation avoids both.
Know the platform rules
Meta, Google and TikTok each have policies for health and wellness advertising, including limits on claims, on before-and-after images and on how audiences can be targeted. These policies are updated often, so read the current versions before building a campaign, not after a rejection.
Know the local rules
Health services and medical tourism are regulated in Turkey, including how they may be advertised and who may offer facilitation services. Check the current requirements with the relevant authority or a legal advisor, and make sure the clinics and facilitators you promote hold the authorizations they need.
Make the landing page match the ad
If an ad promises information about a treatment, the page should deliver exactly that, in the same language, with clear details and an easy way to ask a question. A mismatch costs trust and money.
Count real inquiries, not clicks
Track calls, forms and WhatsApp chats as the result, and review the quality of the conversations with your team. A cheap click that never becomes a conversation is not cheap.
Start small and test
- Run two or three ad versions with a modest budget
- Test one language and one treatment first
- Keep what produces real inquiries and drop the rest
- Increase the budget only after the results are steady
Trendies builds and manages health campaigns in Arabic, English and Turkish, with compliance checks built into the process. We will tell you honestly if a claim is too risky to run.
